The silver travertine vase is offers the same variety in texture and surface, and works well in environments with grey tones, like a cast floor or concrete walls. HOW TO STYLE MARBLE WINE COOLERS

In ancient Egypt, natural stone vases were carved to store and cool wine, their porous surfaces helping to regulate temperature in the desert heat. These stone containers, often found in tombs of the elite, signified both refinement and a reverence for the rituals of drinking. But these tombs were also full of other materials. We also strongly feel that marble or travertine is just one part of the total design of an interior. Our love for natural stone can only exist in a context with other materials - for example wood. But also metals, glass and cloth, combined with marble, can really create a sort of visual symbiosis. For example the right table cloth can really bring out the stones natural character. Or placing a luxury wine cooler on a beautiful antique chest of drawers will make both pieces compliment each other. With each piece having such a strong presents on a table top setting, one would almost forget that these vases can also be used as holders for flowers.
